Epic STORM CHASE on the ISLE OF WIGHT – Tom Court

Tom Court : Welcome back to another video, in this shred I am at home to welcome in the first storm of the season to the UK shores. This is my favourite time for year here in the UK when the winds pickup and the first of the Atlantic swells start rolling in. For Storm Austen, it was 50+ knots and a 3.5m Swell at 15secs so it was time to try and find the biggest waves to ride on the island… starting the storm on the kite, scoring what has to be one of the most fun, side offshore shred that I have had for a long time at home. Some decent size lumps coming through, leaving my ‪@DUOTONEKiteboarding‬ Whip SLS feeling a little small for some of the drops… The Isle of Wight has so many cool secret spots to find that work in very specific forecasts, it is one of my favourite things to search for the best places to ride on a specific forecast. So follow along for the search as I keep looking for the perfect shred this season!
