Cascais, Portugal – May 30, 2012: The Kite Surf Pro World Championship Tour (KSP) today announced that MetaCafe will be their live-stream partner for the 2012 season. Specializing in keeping enthusiasts in the loop on the latest trends, MetaCafe is an entertainment network that focused on movies, video games and live action sports.
The cooperation will include the supply of MetaCafe’s high quality live-stream player to be embedded on the
www.kspworldtour.com/live streaming page. MetaCafe has also established a KSP microsite on their website, which their viewers around the world can tune in to for live KSP event coverage. “We are thrilled to be working with the KSP World Tour and look forward to growing the content on our site and exposing this amazing sport and it’s athletes to our viewers across the globe,” says Brian Lippy, Director at MetaCafe Action Sports.
In addition to partnering with MetaCafe the KSP is also excited to have Ben Meyer and Sky Solbach, two of the most knowledgable and experienced members of the kiteboarding industry, commentating the event. Providing play by play action, Meyer and Solbach will be able to offer in depth insight into surf technique, competitor’s equipment choices, competition venue and more.
An improved Ridescoremobile Live Scoring widget will also be available for all viewers and will add another element of excitement with live scores dropping in real time as they are locked in by the panel of judges.
TMN will supply highspeed internet for the EDP Kite Surf Pro Cascais MetaCafe live stream, which will start on June 1, 2012 at 10am, Portugal time (UTC).
“We’re very happy to be able to provide fans with a high quality live-stream for the 2012 KSP World Tour,” says KSP President and Tour Manager, Kristin Boese. “With the amazing highspeed internet provided by TMN Portugal as well as our awesome new MetCafe player and Ridescoremobile widget we hope to be able to offer a great viewing experience for the fans at home and bring them one step closer to all the live action as it unfolds.”
