The combination of experience and youth, with the addition of talent. These are the ingredients of the Smolder team that brings together surfers Dunga Neto, Márcio Farney, Artur Silva, Ruda Carvalho and kitesurfers Celio Beleza and Bruno Bordovsky. All are imbued with the same goal, take the name of Ceara to the highest place of the podium at events such arrangements in 2012.

In addition to fighting for titles of Brazilian and World circuits, the group will also produce  documentaries on competitions that become guides for communities and kite surfing,” said the kiteboarder from Ceará, Celio Beleza. Celio is involved, since 2008  in the Integrating Borders project, producing documentaries for riders in Cape Verde, Jamaica, Portugal, Morocco and Hawaii.

Celio and his teammates were meeting yesterday afternoon, in Praia da Tabuba, to talk about plans and competitions scheduled for the team with the unconditional support of Smolder. This year,  Peru and Indonesia will be the target countries.

Celio Beleza and Smoder’s philosophy:

One of the things that motivates men of the seas is the search for perfect waves. We’ve all been wondering, as if stuck in time, whether at work or in class, to travel and discover the perfect wave to surf only with friends, relax and enjoy life.

Make a trip to catch the wave is always good, no matter if you drive 80 km or 1000 km, to reach the beach and find good waves, even if the waves are not always perfect. This way of travelers and explorers make the men of the seas one of the last tribes of the planet “Nomads”.

The feeling of surfing is really incredible in many ways, alone or with your friends and then later sit in front of the beach, complitly ecstatic to just contemplate and say thanks to mother nature for providing that moment of greatness and perfection.”

With this in mind, the professional athletes Celio Beleza and Ygon Maia took of to a place of a heavenly scenario, and they arrived with perfect waves, appropriate to the practice of kitewave. This place is called the “Pico das Almas“, “at the peak of souls in Cumbuco, Ceara, Brazil.
